Nicola Leone de Renzis Sonnino

Nicola Leone de Renzis Sonnino founded the Studio de Renzis Sonnino – Castaldi in 2007, after ten years of professional experience in primary law firms. He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Law at the University of Florence and, since 1993, has been engaged in professional activity, scientific research and teaching.
He has been a lecturer in “Tax Law” at the University of Siena from 1998 to 2002 and in “Finance Science” from 2004 – 2006.
He constantly participates as a speaker at conferences and seminars both in tax matters, with particular regard to the issues of trust, and related to the themes of organizational models referred to in D.L.vo n. 231/2001. He has been a member of the Bar of Florence since 1996 and has been a cassationist since 2009.
He is a member, and has been part of the steering committee, of the Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze. He is a national advisor and vice president of the Associazione Dimore Storiche Italiane (ADSI), as well as advisor and vice president of the Tuscany section of the same association. He was also a member of the Il Trust Association in Italy, where he took part in some Commissions related to the tax regime of the Trust. Acts as trustee and guardian in certain trusts set up by private individuals and entrepreneurs. He is a member of the Board of Directors of some Italian companies, as well as of the Foundation Committee of houses for the use of the needy ONLUS in Florence; He is also a member of the Tax Chamber of Florence.
Finally, he was Chairman of the Supervisory Bodies ex Legislative Decree no. 231/2001 of Italian companies.
